One of Scottsdale's earlier master-planned communities, with lakes, greenbelts, paths and a central location.
McCormick Ranch is one of Scottsdale's earlier master-planned communities, and it is laid out around lakes, green space and a long network of walking and biking paths that connect to the Indian Bend Wash greenbelt.
Its central location is a big part of the appeal: Old Town, the Shea Boulevard corridor and the freeway are all a short drive. McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and McCormick Ranch Golf Club are local landmarks.

Many sub-communities here have single-level floor plans and low-maintenance yards, which is why downsizers look at McCormick Ranch early in their search.
